Cortana, a successful personal assistant in both the Windows 10 computer and mobile devices. Day by day, Microsoft enriches it with the new features that make the users love her lovely voice with the quick services. However, the worst part of the Cortana is, it not available for all across the world.
Currently, it supports Australia, Canada, China, French, India, Italy, Japan, Spain, United Kingdom and, United States. Moreover, these countries’ users also sometimes facing trouble to launch the personal assistant like below.

To get rid of “Before we get started, I’ll need some info” or “Before I can help, you’ll need to go to Settings and change your speech language to one I speak” In Cortana, Open your Windows 10 Settings App (WinKey + I)
Go to Time & Language Settings > Regional & Language. Click or tap on the Country drop-down box and select your country from the list.
Once you select your Country, Go to languages and click on “Add a language” option.
You will get a list of languages that are supported by Windows 10 operating system in the current screen. Select your Country language that is supported by Cortana. If you are not aware of the supported language in your region, look into the below-shown table.
If Cortana supports English in your country, pick the English language from the list first and then select your country’s English language.
Now you will be redirected again to the Language Window. The selected language will get listed under the Language field. Select your language from the list and click or tap on the Set as default and then press the Options button.
Under your language options, You should able to see the download button under the Speech. Tap on that Download button and wait until the download is completed.
Once the download finished, go back to time & language settings window, select speech from right pane and select your language in Speech Language option.
That’s it. Once everything has done, just restart your Windows 10 computer and see the magic of your voice. After the successful restart, now you can able to use the Cortana personal assistant on your PC.

Open Cortana automatically whenever you call her:
You can also set her to respond whenever you pronounce “Hey Cortana” through your computer microphone. This feature helps you to launch the personal assistant without touching any keys. If you want to do that,
Open the app, go to Notebook > Settings. In the Settings screen and just enable “Let Cortana to respond “Hey Cortana””.
Train her to Response to your voice only:
You can also train the personal assistant on your device to answer to your voice only. To do so, Go to the app Settings and select “To me” from response best option. You will be prompted to read six phrases repeatedly to make her to learn your voice.
Guide to disable the Cortana personal assistant in Windows 10 Threshold 2
As the Cortana running on background and it taking significant physical memory, some users do not want to use it on their small memory devices. In that instance, Microsoft also lets you to disable the feature in your Windows 10 devices.
Just Go to Cortana > Notebooks > Settings and click or tap on the Turn off radio button. This setting will immediately turn off the feature on your machine.
